58 years after the birth of ceramic implantology thanks to the work of Professor Sami Sandhaus, ceramic implants have gone from being considered an exotic option to a real clinical alternative. With this goal in mind, in January in Prangins, near Geneva, the Swiss manufacturer of ceramic implants Z-Systems brought together a group of clinical experts with the task of collecting the information available on the subject to make it usable by the entire international scientific community. The group of experts is composed exclusively of clinicians with a long experience in ceramic prostheses, among which the name of the Italian Franco Giancola stands out.
